Cook the rice according to package instructions. Partway through cooking, when there is still excess water in the pot, stir in the frozen spinach. Continue cooking the rice. Once finished, fluff and stir to evenly distribute the spinach.

Meanwhile, heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken sausage and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until browned and heated through.

Stir the cooked chicken sausage into the rice mixture and serve.
