    Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shallot and garlic with a pinch of salt and cook for about 3 minutes, until softened.

    Add the beef and cook for 8-10 minutes, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned.

    Stir in the spices along with a pinch of salt and pepper, and cook for 1 minute more, until fragrant.

    Spoon the hummus in a bowl, then top with the spiced beef and garnish with parsley. Serve.
