    Heat the oil in a pot over medium heat. Add the onion and carrots and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, 5-7 minutes. Add the garlic and spices and cook for 1 minute longer, until fragrant.

    Add the ground turkey and break it up with a wooden spoon. Cook until the turkey is no longer pink, 8-10 minutes. Stir in the pumpkin puree, beans, broth, and a pinch of salt. Simmer uncovered for 15-20 minutes.

    Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve.
