Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in the hummus and just half the water, mixing until a sauce forms. Gradually add more water until you reach your preferred consistency.

Add the pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Season generously with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
