    Season the chicken with some salt and pepper.

    Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.

    Add the chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until lightly browned but not fully cooked through.

    Stir in the salsa and mix well. Cover the skillet, reduce the heat to low, and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.

    Sprinkle the cheese over the chicken, cover again, and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the cheese is melted. Serve.
