Turn broiler on.

Rinse scallops and place in a shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with garlic salt, melted butter and lemon juice.

Broil 6 to 8 minutes or until scallops start to turn golden.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add in pepper and onion and saute until vegetables are soft, about 15-20 minutes.
